I only care about (four) things: the Catholic Church, swimming and dancing (and cross stitch.).
Inspired by the eccentricity and wisdom of Little Edie Bouvier of Grey Gardens fame.
Let people know that they're dealing with a STAUNCH character.
And I tell you, if there’s anything worse than a staunch woman … S-T-A-U-N-C-H. There’s nothing worse, I’m telling you.
Stitch this up because you're a staunch lady. A staunch feminist. A staunch human.
This hand stitched piece is frame in a 6"x8" thin black frame. The frame has an arm to stand on a flat surface and hardware to hang on the wall. It features a geometric floral art nouveau border, that would befit any crumbling East Hamptons estate. It is hand-stitched on cotton aida cloth using DMC embroidery floss.
Stitched in shades of grey, red, teal, lime green, yellow, and coral.
You can't have your cake and eat it too in life, but you can have this cross stitch.
